• Clears exactly what changed. Each page is tagged with everything it uses, and an edit clears only the pages that show it.
  • A text change clears the post and the pages that show its full text.
  • A new title or featured image also refreshes listings and archives.
  • A price or stock change clears that product and its category, not the whole shop.
• Correct even with WP-Cron switched off. Scheduled sales, scheduled posts and embargoes take effect at the right moment, because each visit checks what's current. No background job has to fire first.
• No slow pages after a clear. Visitors get the previous copy for a few seconds while a fresh one is built, and the pages you just edited are rebuilt first. Shops can switch this to strict mode.
• No pile-ups under traffic. When a busy page is cleared, one request rebuilds it while everyone else is still served from the cache.
• Pre-warming. It reads your sitemaps and most-visited pages, adjusts its pace to your server, and backs off when your server is under strain.
• "Why was this page cleared?" Look up any address to see when it was cached, what it depends on and which recent edits cleared it.
• Marketing links share one cached copy. Tracking parameters such as utm_*, gclid and fbclid are ignored, so ad traffic gets the fast cached page, and your analytics still sees the parameters.
• Carts and logins stay fast and private.
  • Shoppers with items in their cart still get cached pages, with their own cart filled in.
  • Logged-in visitors get the cached page, with their admin bar added back.
  • Nobody ever sees another person's details.
• Exclusions you can trust, everywhere.
  • Never cache chosen addresses (patterns allowed), cookies or browsers.
  • New in 1.6: never cache pages that use a plugin you pick from a list.
  • Excluded pages also tell browsers and CDNs not to store them.

• Hold back JavaScript until the first tap or scroll, without breaking menus, forms or tracking.
  • Scripts are released in small steps, so the page stays responsive to that first tap.
  • On a heavy test page on a phone, a tap during release answered in 16 ms instead of 120 ms.
• Defer and minify scripts and styles, one file at a time, with no risky combining.
• Used CSS, generated on your own server. Pages load only the styles they use. There's no outside service and no monthly quota.
• Critical CSS for an instant first paint.
• Largest image first. Leadxoptimizer learns which image is the largest on each page from real visitors, then preloads it and gives it priority.
• Lazy loading that measures. Images, videos and iframes below the fold wait, and the ones visitors see first never do.
• Lazy rendering for long pages. It never touches menus, cookie banners, carts or pop-ups.

• Every change is watched.

  • After you change a setting, Leadxoptimizer compares real visitors' script errors, server errors and page speed with the week before.
  • If any of them gets worse, it undoes the change by itself and tells you why.

• Site Guard watches plugin, theme and WordPress updates (new in 1.6):

  • it checks your key pages straight after each update;
  • it works out whether the update itself broke a page, or only the optimised version did;

• It watches real visitors afterwards, and you can undo everything with one click.

• Largest paint (LCP), response to taps (INP), layout shift (CLS), first paint and server time, from real visitors. The data is sampled and stored on your own site.
